Delete your Tally account and data

You can delete your account and associated data at any time. This page satisfies Google Play’s data-deletion disclosure and is for anyone who wants to request deletion — including if you no longer have the app installed.

Option 1 — In the app (fastest)

1. Open Tally → Settings.
2. Delete all my cloud data — erases your data from the cloud while your device keeps its local copy, or
3. Delete account — permanently erases your sign-in account and all cloud data, including any uploaded receipt images, and wipes the local copy on that device.

Items you explicitly shared with your family are kept for those family members (they are co-owners of that shared data).

Option 2 — Request by email (no app needed)

Email contact@neosystems.cc from the email address tied to your account, with the subject “Delete my account”. We will verify ownership of the address and delete your account and cloud data.

What gets deleted

• Your authentication account (email/login).
• Your private financial data in the cloud: transactions, receipts, line items, budgets, projects, subscriptions, merchant rules, and custom categories.
• Receipt images you uploaded to cloud storage.

What is retained, and for how long

• Family-shared items are retained for the other members of your family who share them.
• Backups and operational logs may persist for a short period before routine expiry, typically within 30 days.
