Privacy Policy — Tally

Effective date: 2026-06-06  ·  Last updated: 2026-06-06

Tally (“the app”, “we”, “us”) is a personal-finance app published by NeoSystems. This policy explains what data the app handles, when it leaves your device, and your choices. Questions or requests: contact@neosystems.cc.

Our core principle: local-first

Tally works fully offline. All of your finance data is stored on your device by default. Cloud features (account sign-in, sync, AI receipt cleanup, family sharing, push notifications) are optional, and the data-sharing ones are off by default and gated behind explicit in-app consent. If you never sign in, no personal or financial data leaves your device.

We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising. We do not access other apps installed on your device.

Third-party processors

When cloud features are used, data is processed by: Amazon Web Services (Cognito authentication, AppSync/DynamoDB sync, S3 image storage, AWS Bedrock for AI — in the EU region), and Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (push notifications). These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy terms. Data is encrypted in transit.

Data retention and deletion

Your data is retained while your account is active. You can, at any time, from Settings:

You can also request deletion without the app: see Data Deletion.

Children

Tally is not directed to children and is not intended for users under 13 (or the minimum age in your country).

Your rights

Depending on your region (e.g. EU/EEA under GDPR), you have rights to access, export, correct, and delete your data, and to withdraw consent. The in-app tools above cover access/export/deletion; for anything else, contact contact@neosystems.cc.

Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
