Terms of Service — Tally
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and NeoSystems (“we”, “us”) and govern your use of the Tally personal-finance app (“the app”). By tapping “Agree & continue”, creating an account, or using the app, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app. Questions: contact@neosystems.cc.
The service
Tally helps you record and understand your personal finances — transactions, budgets, receipts, bank-statement imports, and reports. It works fully on your device; cloud features (account sign-in, sync, AI receipt cleanup, family sharing, push notifications) are optional and described in the Privacy Policy.
Tally is a tool, not financial advice. Category suggestions, AI receipt readings, and reports are best-effort and may be inaccurate. You are responsible for verifying your own financial records and for any decisions you make. The app is not a bank, accountant, tax preparer, or financial advisor.
Your account and responsibilities
- You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use the app.
- If you create an account, keep your sign-in credentials secure; you are responsible for activity under your account.
- You agree to use the app only for lawful purposes and not to misuse, disrupt, reverse-engineer, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or other users’ data.
- In family sharing, items you choose to share become visible to the family members you invite. Only share what you intend others to see.
Your data
Your finance data is yours. We handle it as described in the Privacy Policy — local-first by default, with optional cloud features that are off by default and gated behind explicit consent. You can export or delete your data at any time from Settings, or request deletion via Account & Data Deletion.
Plans and billing
The app offers a free tier and optional paid plans (including a family plan). Paid subscriptions are sold and billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, and are subject to those stores’ terms. Prices, free-trial terms, and renewals are shown at the point of purchase. Manage or cancel a subscription through your app-store account; deleting the app does not by itself cancel a subscription.
Availability and changes
We may add, change, or remove features, and we may suspend or discontinue the service or any cloud feature at any time. We aim to keep the app working offline so your locally-stored data remains accessible.
Disclaimers
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any AI-derived or imported data is correct.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, NeoSystems will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or financial outcomes arising from your use of (or inability to use) the app. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (including, for consumers, mandatory statutory rights).
Termination
You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or misuse the service.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms; material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above, and you may be asked to agree again within the app. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at NeoSystems’ place of establishment, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence.
